PermaRock Solid Wall Training Academy

External wall installation (EWI) systems can provide tremendous benefits to buildings and the environment by reducing heat losses through the external walls which can save money on heating bills as well as improving the external appearance.

Correctly installed systems can offer many decades of energy-saving performance, and as new products and systems are developed to provide improved performance, better productivity, to meet regulatory requirements, and to keep pace with changes in industry building methods, so too has the need to continuously develop training content and delivery.

In order for EWI systems to achieve their optimum performance, careful installation and attention to detail is required and to help towards achieving these goals operatives working for PermaRock registered installers are required to have received instruction in the installation of PermaRock EWI systems before they undertake works on buildings.

Our training courses, therefore, provide an opportunity for operatives to gain a thorough understanding of the techniques required to install PermaRock EWI and render systems correctly so that they meet their design performance and quality requirements.

PermaRock Solid Wall Academy

The PermaRock Training Academy is a dedicated training environment established at our head office site at Jubilee Drive, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 5TW, and is easily accessible by car from the M1 (Junction 23/24) or from Loughborough railway station.

Our training facilities are designed so that all of the key aspects of EWI installation can be demonstrated and practiced, including working around gas flues and meter boxes, flat and pitched roof abutments, gutter scoops, soffit returns, as well as detailing around windows and doors, wall bases and more.

Training is carried out by our dedicated team of Systems Technicians and all attendees are encouraged to undertake the installation and application techniques themselves so that they can become familiar not only with PermaRock system materials, but also understand the importance and significance of correct EWI system detailing.
