Our technical representatives represent also provide support to organisations such as the NIA, and SWIGA, to help drive forward industry standards and detailing. This includes engaging with key industry stakeholders, Government (BEIS), BSI, Retrofit Academy, to raise quality standards.
PermaRock has a well-established nationwide network of registered installers, many of which are certificated to PAS2030:2019, TrustMark Registered, and installer members of the NIA, SWIGA and other trade associations/guarantee providers. Consequently, we are ideally placed to help clients with PAS2030:2019 / PAS2035:2019 retrofit projects, supplying external wall insulation systems that are not only fully compliant with the latest standards but also the requirements of multiple funding mechanisms, such as the Home Upgrade Grant (HUG), Local Authority Delivery (LAD) Phase 3 (and previous phases) and Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) schemes.
PermaRock systems are suitable for use on all types of construction, including non-traditional/system-built housing, and have been tested and certified by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) to meet the demands and requirements of Building Regulations in England, Scotland and Wales. Furthermore, PermaRock Mineral Fibre external wall insulation systems, incorporating non-combustible stone wool insulation, meet the latest UK fire safety requirements and are approved for use on multi-storey (high-rise) buildings over 18 metres in height, with high performance through-coloured textured renders, bricks slip, brick effect render, and dry dash finishes available.
Our systems have been installed on thousands of PAS-compliant buildings, including schemes delivered through the Green Homes Grant and LAD (1A, 1B and 2) with LAD 3 in the pipeline. We are also currently working on PAS-compliant projects financed by the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund and the Energy Company Obligation (ECO).
Our technical teams can therefore provide Retrofit Assessors, Designers and Coordinators with expert support and all the benefits of practical, real-world experience that includes ongoing assistance with their designs and adaptations to ensure that retrofits are completed diligently and efficiently on a property-by-property basis.
